Why is Atom School free?

Atom began with Atom Home, our home learning platform that is a cost-effective alternative to private tuition. Today, it is used by tens of thousands of parents to boost their child’s academic performance, not just across the core subjects, but for that all important exam prep too.

As more and more families took advantage of Atom Home, we had schools coming to us who had heard great things from their families, had seen big jumps in attainment of the children using the platform, and were curious as to whether we had anything for schools. From these conversations, Atom School was built. 

Unlike other platforms that charge thousands of pounds a year for their subscriptions, we decided early on that Atom School should be free for schools. Thanks to the support of teachers and parents it has remained free for 7 years.

It is thanks to these recommendations and the Atom Home subscriptions that we are able to keep Atom School free for teachers and schools across the world.
