To create and set classwork from the Activities area, click Create Activity.
- Activity Name
- First, enter the title for the classwork.
- Subject and Topics
- Select a subject for the classwork. From your curriculum map, select the atoms for your pupils to work through.
- Questions
- Select the year group the classwork will be assigned to. The slider represents the upper difficulty level that your students will see.
- Choose the number of questions.
- There are additional help options to support your pupils, including explanations, helpsheets and videos.
- Preview Questions
- You can preview the types of questions your pupils will answer. These questions are a sample of what each pupil might see.
- Preview Resources
- You can preview the videos and helpsheets associated with the topic. These are the same resources your students will be able to access when doing their independent work, and the resources you can use to start your lesson. We recommend previewing the video in advance and making note of any pause points or discussion points you would like to include in your lesson.
- Set activity
- After clicking Set Activity, you will be prompted to select the class the classwork will be assigned to.
- On the next screen, the Deselect button allows you to remove any pupils from the classwork; for example, if they’re absent.
- On the third and final screen, you will be prompted to confirm the activity type as Classwork.
After you have set the classwork, it will go live and appear in the Active/Scheduled list.
How do I set classwork again?
You can set classwork again from the Active/Scheduled, Finished and All School Activities lists. To set the same piece of classwork again, click Clone.
