The Baseline Assessment helps calibrate the algorithm for each child. We recommend doing it in the first week of the new school year.
The Baseline Assessment is a quick calibration tool for the platform. It is pre-loaded onto students' accounts at the beginning of the academic year.
Each assessment has 15 questions at different levels of difficulty. They include a range of topics within each subject area.
The assessments kickstart the platform's adaptive algorithm at the beginning of the new school year. This helps the work you set to start at an appropriate level of difficulty for each child.
Each child should complete the Baseline Assessment independently. This ensures the calibration is accurate! It is most useful when completed as close to the beginning of the school year as possible.

This activity can be done in class or at home. However, children will not be able to access the task at home if they do not have an activated Parent Account.
