Access and analyse homework and lesson data

This short guide will help you navigate the activities section to view and analyse the results of classwork and homework activities. Watch the accompanying video for a step-by-step guide.

Accessing Activities

  1. Navigate to Activities

    • Go to the "Activities" section on the left-hand side menu bar.
  2. Tabs Overview

    • Active and Scheduled: View and track progress of tasks currently active or scheduled to go live.
    • Finished: Find tasks that have already been completed.
    • All School Activities: See work set for any class by any teacher. Useful for checking specific class progress in multi-class assignments.

Viewing Results

  1. Find Relevant Activity

    • Navigate to the right-hand side.
    • Scroll or search for the specific activity.
    • Click "View Results" for the desired activity.
  2. Results Area

    • Download Scores: Option to download results in spreadsheet format.
    • Performance Metrics:
      • Time Taken: See how long students took on the activity.
      • Percentage Correct: View the percentage of correct answers (less relevant for adaptive activities).
      • Student Score: Best metric for adaptive activities; represents the likelihood of a student correctly answering an average difficulty question.
      • Sort by Student Score: Quickly identify students handling complex questions and those needing more support.

Interpreting Scores

  1. Student Score Insights

    • Above 50%: Area of strength.
    • Below 50%: Indicates need for additional support.
    • Higher Scores: Indicate ability to handle more complex questions.
    • Lower Scores: Indicate need for simpler questions and more support.
  2. Detailed Breakdown

    • Show Transcript: Click to see a full breakdown of questions, time taken, responses, correct answers, and explanations.
    • Encourage Self-Review: Students can review their own work through their account.
