Find out what target school scores are and how parents can add their target school to the platform.

What are target school scores?

The Target School Score shows how a student is performing relative to other students with the same target school for each subject. It can be a helpful data point to discuss with their parents and guardians.

Please note that this information is the average performance of children who chose the same target school on Atom Home at the time they sat the exam. It does not reflect any standards set by the school and is not a guarantee of entry/non-entry.

If a target school hasn’t been selected by your students’ parents and guardians, your students’ Scorecard will show an average score achieved by Atom users in their same year group.

How can parents add a target school to the platform?

Parents can add a target school to their child's profile by following the steps outlined below:

  • Sign in with their email address and password

  • Select Profile Icon

  • Select 'My Settings'

  • Navigate to [Child]'s target school and goals and select 'Edit.'

  • Select '+ Add School.'

Parents can input up to 5 target schools and must select a first choice.
