My homework has not gone live

Scheduling homework on Atom helps plan ahead and save time. However, sometimes tasks don't go live as scheduled. Here's why and how to fix it.

  1. Active Task Limit: If there are 5 or more active tasks in the same subject for the same students, new tasks won't go live to avoid overwhelming students and teachers.
  2. Checking Active Tasks: Go to your Activities area to see active tasks. You may need to check "All School Activities" if other teachers set work in the same subject for the same students.
  3. Freeing Up Space:
    • End existing classwork tasks by clicking "View Progress" and then "Stop Activity."
    • Do the same for any active homework tasks where the due date has passed.
  4. Manual Start for Missed Tasks:
    • If the start date has passed, edit the scheduled task and click "Set Activity Now" to make it live immediately.
  5. Best Practice:
    • Use the stop activity function to automatically remove tasks from students' and your lists the day after they are due, keeping to-do lists uncluttered.
